Church of Luxe

In the interests of full disclosure I should say that I know someone who knows someone who knows Lo Jacobs. Or something like that. However, I feel in my heart that I can judge dispassionately these products from the Church of Luxe.

This is the latest release from the Church, a dress called Lucy. I bought it in two colours, because when I put it on I felt pretty like the prettiest girl in the sim (there was no one else in the sim at the time, so I admit the competition wasn’t tough). I have paired the frock with the new High Oxfords from Tesla, to add an edge of… edgyness. I like the floral girliness of this dress, and the way the prims hang from your pixels like elegant birds diving into a freshwater river.

I also picked up an outfit called ‘Genuine’ which excites me (non-sexually) with its vague vibe of the 1980s. So I put on big hair, and finished the outfit off with those Bax Coen boots that everyone has by now. They cost more than all the clothes put together, so they must be good. I plan to wear this pink jacket to every event I attend, and to buy a motorbike to go with it. Where do motorbikes come from anyway?

To conclude, these clothes both charmed and impressed me. They have a playfulness that I can’t quite capture in words, but luckily there are pictures to speak for me. Yes, look at the pictures.

  1. Love your whimsical way with words, Chav!

  2. I think motorbikes are dropped from the Motorbike-Riding Stork, chav. *nods lots*.. at least that is what my parents told me when I got old enough for that sort of talk. If this is true, I want one too to go with that second outfit and I too want pixels like elegant birds that dive into rivers and stuff because there just aren’t enough aquatic diving pixels these days. Loved the review :)

Actually Genuine DOES excite me sexually! Want it! Thanks! (Exclamation points!)

  4. Dusky Jewell says:

    motorbikes come from H8 Motors…

    signed,

one of the good reputable Motorbike Storks on SL.

  5. Cat says:

    omg those shoes

    I’m in love

  6. Having recently picked up the free skin from Maeve I can tell you that motorcycles come from a store a few doors down.

At first I thought someone in the crowd was making exaggerated farting noises, but it was the revving of virtual engines in the motorbike store.

Anyhoo, love those shoes from Tesla.
