This doesn't surprise me one bit as ever since LL opened SL up to the entire world without having to verify any info to get free accounts, The teens/adults going back and forth from the grids and the content theft in general has and will continue to increase.
Again, they choose and prefer Quantity over Quality. WTG LL!!! *rolleyes*
Thievery is really bad there. I dont know if this is true but word is the girl from [plastik] had a teen grid store where she would sell stolen content from MG. Again, I dont know if this is true. But i was told this.

Passing rumors like that around when you don't have proof of is extremely low class and nothing more than back fence gossip. Putting a little disclaimer on it does not make you a better person, but it certainly brings your credibility as a decent human being down to zero. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Actually, the person who I heard it from is fresh off of the TG and is a credible source. The question for me is whether it is really true or not- I dont believe anything unless I have physical evidence; of which it shouldnt be too hard to obtain (If it is true). I just wasnt that worried about it to go out of my way to obtain such material.
Due to the rampant theft going on there, its not a far fetched statement. Furthermore, due to an occurrence that happened regarding her here on the MG, it just adds to the case.
But im not going to get into a debate about it. If saying that makes me not a decent human being than oh well. Ill apologize when/if I feel wrong about it.
Everyone else can choose to chalk it up as pure gossip and ignore my statements.

Yea, I do have a bit of an instigator's streak to me.
But no not really in terms of trying to "Shit stir". So, if my car got bashed in in RL, and I saw that it was ruined but didnt see who did it, bringing an eye witness to testify and saying, "well my car is bashed in, I didnt see who did it, but my neighbour here saw the defendant there hitting it with a bat" is stirring shit? Not really.. But there is a fine line.

There are some of the best hair designers in SL in there, it's just poor lighting/bad contrast with the background color. If you think all these are low quality you clearly know zilch about SL fashion.
Ignore Clara, she already claims that she supports copy theft in SL because she is a loser.

Just wondering how they get so much stolen content. If you copybot with avatar A on the Main Grid, you have to somehow get that content to avatar B on the teen grid. Since the Teen Grid and the Main Grid don't link up, it must be a fairly complex process.
We're not just talking copybot any more. It's progressed far beyond copybot and has been that way for several months now.
Becasue Anondes, it is mostly kids that do the ripping on the main grid and then take it back to the TG. You dont have to age verify so it is simple

friend of mine joined SL recently, she got the usual spaming of notecards and group joins. Not knowing any better she said yes to everything. Once she figured a few things out, she showed me all the new hair and skin she had been passed. ALL of it was high quality copybotted hair from the best SL has to offer. I tried to explain it to her, she didn’t understand, she is most likely still wearing and highly likely passing it out.
Most of the copybotting is done by teenagers, and the reason is because most parents don't teach their kids about ethics these days.
Teenagers have a two dimensional view of the world, they live for fun without the responsibility – to them SL is only a video game where real people cannot get hurt. They have no understanding of money or people's feelings.
Most teenagers don't have a real life income, therefore they cannot respect that money is earned from hard work. If they can get scripts to get things for free, that is part of the game to them – they don't comprehend that they are stealing from hardworking honest people who have bills to pay and kids to support.
To them, the adult world is just full of people who take life 'too seriously', they haven't reached a point in their lives where they have to start planning a future and putting food on the table. For kids, in the western world at least, and particularly those who have computers and internet, they take for granted that there is ALWAYS food on the table.
It's horrible that children have become spoilt in this way due to the materialistic indulgence of modern culture. In a world where things can be gotten easily for free, how will the next generation be able to cope in times of hardship.

I used to be on the teen Grid, all I can say is Do not steal from other people as it is just as bad as shoplifting from a store. Also if people offer you a client called Neil Life, or any other copybot program that can take anything you want, Dont even use it, as it could cost your parents real world money, up to 30 thousand USD per stolen item Plus Jail time, and since your a teen it could be less of a sentence, like Community Service or something, But trust me you do not want to get caught being a thieft on the virtual world, as this could also lead to a ton of real life concequences. If you have already stolen something, Just remove it from your iventory, Get rid of all the stolen content, and Download Green Life, or regular secondlife only, and dont do it again, it is not too late.
It's quite obvious the teens who are on the adult grid and shouldn't be, they usually are the ones who pretend to be twenty something, and avoid conversations about education, real life jobs and taxes.
