A fairly lightweight Java-based application Daniel Luchador has created to preview sculpties before uploading.
Instructions:
Just double click SculptySee.jar to run the program. If this does not work, you probably need to obtain the latest version of Java.

SculptySee was written by Daniel Ruszaj (danielruszaj@gmail.com). Version 1.0 released April 25th, 2009. SculptySee is written in Java, multiplatform, free to share and use.

YeS! Haven’t tried yet, first gotta see if it’ll run on an intel Mac. It MUST if it’s Java tho.

Yes, it works on Macs, the .jar file acts like an .exe. It only displays wireframe/vertex, correct. I would assume it works on Linux too (you need Java to run this, which most people have, including all Mac users).
