Perhaps her illness or any medication has affected her brain. She may be on steroid medication, it makes you aggressive. My dad was on it for a while and he was a real idiot for the duration. He did and said things that were mean and stupid. Big difference after he came off of it.

I have to say, as disturbing as this person may be, whether or not they stole from someone else, is besides the point,and up to SL to deal with in the proper channels. But the fact that a person’s personal info was copied and pasted into a “news” blog violates SL’s TOS. So SCD is just as guilty of breaking the law as she is. Perhaps more. Does posting her info and pictures make things “better”? I don’t think so..the ends does not justify the means.
Profiles are not personal, they are out there for anyone to see, they could not be less personal. If you put info into any profile assume anyone and everyone can or will read it. If you don’t want people to know stuff don’t put it in a profile!

Just to clarify since I am brazlian, yes we have universal healthcare, but it DOESN`T work, people stay a long time waiting for something and die many many times waiting. The work is terrible as well as the conditions, we cann´t find doctors in hospitals, you need waiting months until you get a simple clinical consultation. Many people here pay a health security, similar to USA and many many things you don´t have total cover. This is the real true story about health in Brazil :\ unfortunately.
The only difference between that before/after picture is several layers of make-up.

Technically, seeing as I’m full of the swine flu, I also have erosive esophagitis (aka sore throat) – but I ain’t begging for L to pay for my Tamiflu or anything.
My personal view is that no-one should beg from strangers, family are there to support you, or you can get a job or something. If it’s cheaper, expatriate to a country that does decent free healthcare like the UK. Though to be honest we don’t want Revenge Gears here, we got enough crazy on our island.
Fatty Liver Disease is reversible according to that Wikipedia article (and I have a co-worker who was diagnosed with it like 7 years ago and he’s fine) and Erosive Esophagitis is not considered fatal. I cry FOUL when it comes to this woman.

From personal experience, hospitals in Brazil are much worse than anything that can be experienced in the United States. Long waits. Really bad conditions. No a/c in the hospital I was at. A bunch of people sitting in chairs or laying on non-hospital-type beds around a room (again, without a/c in a country with tropical weather most of the year). I don’t know her, but I can speak for the healthcare system in Brazil. Everyone can get medical care, but the level of care they actually get is pretty damn low.

I buy NONE of it. I received a message that Revenge was supposedly in a coma, and then two messages later, Revenge was making a song for everyone? WTF? How can someone in a coma do that?
And now “Joanne” has learned now to “design” the clothes from Revenge and is sending out various outfits, claiming she designed them.
Then Joanne said that people were complaining to LL that all of this is fake and that they are committing fraud. Could it be that Revenge got caught and is now trying to make an alter ego and “kill off” Revenge to start as someone new?
Something needs to be done about this. If I were sick, there is no way in hell would I a) ask for money from strangers, b) make a mochary of people who are actually sick and c) make videos while I am supposedly in a coma.
It was “induced” coma, according to the notices. That means they were using meds to purposely put her in that state, and apparently they only did it for a couple of days.
I don’t know whether I truly believe what’s going on or not, but I do know I am tired of hearing about it. If it is true, then I feel very bad for her and I hope she’s able to get well. Otherwise, her sister should pick something else to send notices out about. Also, every outfit she sends out now has that same picture in it with information on a NC about the illness. I’m just tired of seeing it, and it’s obvious that if people are reporting to LL about it, nobody else wants to see it all the time, either.
So my suggestion is to either limit what you post about the health issues, or don’t post to everyone at all…just let the people know that want to know what’s going on.
All I can say is that I hope whatever it is that is making her erratic, and to some extent dramatic, that she gets the help she needs as soon as possible.
I never want to think anyone would use illness as an excuse for bad behavior. Similarly, every time someone plays on the sympathies of others for whatever reason, and that reason turns out to be false, it makes those who are really sick and reaching out for comfort seem suspect.
That is unfortunately the nature of SL, people can be or say anything and there is very little way anyone can tell either way what is real and what is not. We have all been lied to by someone, and we have all probably said something misleading to others, whether to protect ourselves or to make ourselves feel better somehow then we do in the moment.
I wish this individual well, I have never heard of her before, but she needs help whether medical or psychiatric, and I hope she can get it.

I’m no doctor but I wonder if she has hepatic steosis from a metabolic stand point or from Hep C. If it’s just metabolic this can be reversed through diet. If it’s from Hep C it’s a problematic side effect. In any case, she doesn’t seem to have yellowing of the eyes and skin which is caused from a fatty liver.

Ok let me first just say the three things she said go hand in hand. If you have one problem you will develop the other 2. I am a nurse and have been a nurse for 18 years. And I believe she has these problems. But regardless if she doesn’t can someone please tell me why you can’t just leave her alone? Why can’t you just be adult and walk away? I know that the internet can bring out behavior that people may not normally have but this bulling behavior leaves a lot to be desired. And maybe before accusing someone of lying do a little basic research. Really makes you come off as a lot less intelligent than you probably are.
No matter if her disease is true fact or not. I don’t think anyone has the right to judge her. Infact it was her sister who decided to go public about the sickness and not herself. Now everyone trys to share their “very own opinion” about it. I say just let those girls be. If this case is true you surely feel guilty for everything negative that’s been said later. If they bother you why not just ignore it? Always keep in mind it could be you being sick one day…and who knows what decisions you will make then.

I am a member of the SWR subscribo and it gets annoying the volume of these messages that come out. It would be nice if we got one every now and then about some progress that is going on with her, but for the most part it is her sister whining and wanting money, or trying to make the customers feel bad over some stupid BS. The fact is that even if she is sick, all of this shouldn’t be put on the shoulders of her customers on this level. Yes it was fine to tell us about her sickness – not it is NOT fine to keep badgering us for money and then treating us like crap like we don’t care because we aren’t sending it.
It is really hard for me to tell if she is really sick, on that note. I believed it at first, but her sister’s kind of ruined that and it all seems like some gimmick for donations.
Also, I got here through the notice in the group – in which Joanne says “I’m not a good manager and i’m doing mistakes like everybody in beggining…” – please note: this is not about her management of the store. I don’t get why she keeps bringing it up.

While I don’t agree with a public lynching of her or her “sister” (and trust me I’m all about public lynching), the messages to the group are redundant and annoying and should have been and be kept to one a week or even every two weeks if she insists on sending them out. Ok, one thing that screams at me about this being a hoax is the fact that despite her saying she doesn’t want your money etc, she posted her bank info/paypal for people to give her money.

I have dealt with serious health issues with family members, and I can perfectly understand what they can be going through. You aren’t rational, etc, but it seems that “Joann” is trying too hard to get info out to us, rather than being by her sister’s side. Judgmental and harsh of me I know, but if she truly is dying then WTF are you even doing spending any time in SL, esp talking about it. If SL is to be your escape from the heartaches and trauma you are dealing with a sister that is terminally ill then I don’t get why keep talking about it.

The pictures of Revenge are from a sleep clinic, do any of you really read these notices? Her condition according to the many copies of her “diagnosis” are from obesity and the surgery according to one of the “Give me money sites” was for stomach stapling…… pay attention people. It was only after reading a copy of her medical report from one of these sites that I realized what a bunch of BS this all is. 1. Obesity was the number one reason for her “conditions” 2. the conditions were reported from the paper they submitted to the sleep clinic
3. the pictures in the hospital are from the sleep clinic 4. Everything that was listed as going to “kill” her are extremely curable
Go back and search the Dr’s reports if they have not removed them. Maybe they did not realize when they posted the report that big words are not scary. Just because they use a lot of letters to name your condition does not mean you are that sick…… seriously. I fell for all of this until I did some research through the resources they posted. Basically what I got out of THEIR dr report was that she is chubby, needs to loose some weight, snores, and wants a stomach stapling.
