Quan has also attempted this same scheme on several other content creators in-world.
She needs to have an AR filed for sheer harrassment and the racial slur.
Gotta hand it to her, she tried a real-world retail scam. Good on Autumn for telling her flat out that she needs to take it up with LL. If the transaction history shows no money going to you, no money was taken from anyone else. I hope other store owners understand this basic principle, as well.
I have this attempted with me sometimes. I say that a missing transaction record is a serious SL bug and they must inform Linden Labs immediately. Then I pass URL for support ticket. When they persist, ask about the ticket. Repeatedly.

Mothergoose Texan – i met this avi in Fri.day a few weeks back. I chatted with her a bit and after a couple days of odd IM’s and TP requests she just seemed young and I began to suspect she was underage. I reported her LL and within minutes she logged out and never returned.
And oh she told me at one point she had another avatar that was banned and tried to lead me to believe she was the creator behind mothergoose. I say report her again.
I just reported her again as underage indicating she admitted to being Mothergoose Texan – a banned avatar.
This girl isn’t that smart. Another girl tried a smarter scam on me and I give her props for thinking it through.
She dropped me an NC that said she had inventory loss and gave me a list of the items (a long list) with transaction numbers. She mixed in actual items she bought with ones she didn’t buy and just added fake transaction numbers. I assume she thought that I’d check only a few and then assume she must be telling the truth and just hand over all she requested. Little did she know that I triple check every transaction number. She didn’t say anything when I asked her about it. I’ve already forgotten her name.

In some people’s defense my friend was buying a gift from Artilleri about 2 years ago. It was actually a giftcard. Anyway, he claimed he didn’t get it. I asked him repeatedly is there a transaction number in his history- send that and what item it was on a notecard and I’m sure it’ll be taken care of fast. Well he kept saying, “The transaction isn’t there” and I was like “Was any money taken?” and he was like “YAH” so I was like “WTF” so I told him to send a notecard anyway and he felt sooooo embarassed- because he realized he told me money HAD been taken out and it hadn’t. So when Antonia told him the transaction didn’t take place he felt sooo bad. Of course, I guarantee their conversation lasted about 5 lines and he lamented to me how embarrased he was hoping he wasn’t thought a fraud.
It happens. In the presented case though I feel “Me thinks she does protest too much” but I wanted to share that people *do* make the mistake of not paying attention to their Linden balance (how I have no idea, I’m on that stuff like a hawk heh)

Bottom line folks, this is your stores bottom line we are talking about. Sob stories are just that, a story. You need to have a solid policy to not waste your time with this kind of garbage. I recommend to everyone.
If anyone comes to you with any kind of delivery/whatever issue, make them come up with the date and transaction number. Odds are you as a vendor have hundreds if not thousands of times more transactions than the average player has in a month. Let them do at least that much leg work.
When they come up with the info, verify it on your end. If it all matches up you can make a judgment call to resend or not. Make a note in their profile if you do resend so you will know if it comes up again.
Stores about alts, “it happened over a month ago” or anything else are a joke. When, not if but when they start threatening to AR you or whatever, ban and mute. The Lindens do not guarantee anyones inventory in SL, so they don’t follow up on any of this nonsense. Stand up for yourself and your business, or else these scammers will walk all over you.
This is why I hate people. Even if this scammer thought this actually had somehow happened to her, going to Autumn and not LL make no sense if she has no transaction history.
It’s like going into Bloomingdales and saying “Oh, I was going to buy this dress but I lost the money on the way over here. You should give me the dress anyway.”

I would stop arguing with her a lot sooner than Autumn and Kellie did :/ All those hours spent arguing and worrying is not worth the measly few cents she claims to have spent. I’ve been caught in that trap before, not only are they trying to scam you, they are deliberately wasting your time. I wonder if it’s the alt of a competitor?

I think that Autumn and Kellie tried to give good customer service to what could have been any kind of problem initially, and then tried to help the person find their solution, by checking their transactions and by referring her to LL. I would suspect this happens many times, and is why it’s a good idea to check the transaction numbers given against those that you have (like London does), as I’m sure many will make up fake transactions to get either items or refunds. Stealing is really not something to be tolerated, but you have to start off presuming that customer are innocent until proven to be scamming. It’s just good business practice in any world.
I am fairly certain this person has just been banned. No name shows up in search and she’s not in any groups I have previously seen her name in.

This girl was brought to my attention by a friend, but I didn’t know her avatar name. I was in Lamb. just a few days ago, and saw her camming my avatar, I checked her out, etc. We talked briefly, I liked her avi so just being nice, I sent her products from my store, and then she tp’d out. I went to check her profile *so wah I snoop lol* and the photo that was shown to me before was her profile picture and I was like, “OMFG.” lmao. If she had insulted me because of my asian heritage or otherwise, she would have WISHED for me to be banned. People like her seriously need to not go outside.

She seems to pull stories from other people to pass them off as her own, and she is constantly trying to scam people. I really hope they ban her IP, but her IP has been banned twice before.
