You know, I was gone all weekend and missed a lot of stuff. I was feeling sad about that until a few of my friends IM’d me this evening and told me they were entering the Glam SL Casting for the next issue. I even heard a few of my “chunkier” SL friends applied – but you know they won’t get in. SL models are all tall and leggy. Save for Swirly. (God, why would we want to look at other larger shapes? Someone should start a “Layne Bryant of SL”. It would be awesome.)
So I thought, “Well, heck. Why shouldn’t I apply?” … well, why not?
A few shots and an hour of photoshopping later, I feel I have some fairly appropriate application images. Click the cut to see what I put in!

Good luck Tenshi! As for the tall, leggy models – eh. Lovely, yes, carefully crafted, of course – but its the different folks that truly stand out (for me, at least). Tenshi’s avatar may not have classic “model” features, but has one of the most recognizable and distinct faces around. I love that about SL – my least favorite qualities in reality become my most adored features on my av.
