Funny part is they are using a registered trademark but I don’t see Linden Research Inc. listed as the owner. Perhaps Linden Research Inc. needs to be made aware of the infringement.
I’m sure they’re already aware.
Probably not the right people since if the legal department knew about it they would have to change it.
Unless those founders and moderators are Linden Lab employees. I guess that is a possibility. Never know till they get turned in.
Keep in mind that when they say, “This message has been sent to you by FlickrHQ on behalf of Second Life”, they mean, the group called “Second Life”.
But yeah, they actually are breaking trademark law or something. They didn’t use the little “R” symbol, and I believe we were all given a big lecture last year about how you could no longer write “Second Life” without the little R.
I don’t do it because I don’t know the flipping symbol.
Oh come on, they banned her for that? Sense of humour bypass ahoy…Very petty IMHO.
They need to lighten up big time.
