SATXi

Some days at SCD, there isn’t any fun new fashion – and only complaints about content theft or other content issues.

Thank god, this isn’t one of those days. I received a notice from SATXI through Fashcon when I was online earlier this week, and their ads were “fun and funky” enough to catch my attention.

I took a few pieces from SATXi and matched them up with a Wax Poetic skin by Roberta Beauchamp, Cameo Gargoyle necklace by Violet Voltare, and Coif hair by Paulie Tamale. I really am drawn to Roberta’s Wax Poetic (Eloh skin mods) because the lips are just so expressive and full of pout.

I really liked this SATXi set – put together by me, sold separately – because the skirt is just so SPRING. Light colors, bold expression, patchwork – it’s wonderful. The tank itself echoes the oceanic hues that I’m feeling drawn to recently. The SATXi tanks come on all layers, but I do wish that the jacket layer was extended with a bottom section. Violet’s necklace adds a wonderful gothic punk flair to the entire outfit, brings it into a place other than the “country club date” direction it might have gone otherwise.

This tank top also caught my eye – I believe it’s in the same location as the other tank top. I teamed this sunshine-esque tank with another Wax Poetic skin, Armidi hair, Vette’s Boutique pants and Popfuzz flip-flops.
