Monday Bloody Monday – #2 Fantabulous Freebies

Yeah, fantabulous IS a word. Mondays always have that Monday feeling, dread for the week ahead,  missed memories of the past weekend. You need something that will pick you up and make you smile. Generosity is one of them. I’m focussing on three wonderful people who take time out of their schedule to create freebies, for the sake of those who are less fortunate and newbies with no lindens. These people are selfless, ask for nothing in return and pump out some spectacular creations. These are Fantabulous Freebies…

First of all we have Alice07 Barzane, of Peppermint Blue. Peppermint Blue is a Fashion Bar, with a huge Freebie Store as well. The items are often co-created with Izumi Homewood, of IZUMIYA, and it shows in the quality and the styles available. You can get some male outfits there, however it’s a small amount, and the focus is generally on the female clothes. There are clothes for most occasions available, comedy costumes and entire outfits with hair, skin, eyes, shape and shoes.

Next up is Djunk, a store I’ve known about since a few months ago, owned by Lala Infinity. Djunk is an amazing store with a wide range of  outfits and accessories, eyes, skins and even elf ears, and has recently branching out into skyboxes and furniture. Djunk has a distinct alternative feel to it, and the quality of the items is pleasantly surprising. I love the unashamed use of colour, and the vibrancy of the creations. Currently Djunk doesn’t do any male clothing, but the sheer amount of womens clothing more than makes up for it.

Lastly we have a store called Maschieinwerk, which has a large amount of male clothing available, with smatterings of female fashions, shapes and skins, skyboxes, even accessories! I admit the pickings for my personal taste were slim here, but there is a colossal amount of stuff for guys here, quality stuff too.
