In Case You Wondered…

… what I was wearing last week for the Gadgets N’ Gear spy post I thought I’d fill ya in.

I went shopping for a new outfit a couple of weeks back so I’d have a new look to wear out to the Rouge Lounge and Club Fusion. It’s hard y’know, keeping up with Nexeus Fatale in the cool department. Well, I got a stack of rawrs and Isle and Jori keep asking for my bald look.

So here are the details.

The Fedora is part of a whole Mob Boss look you’ll see again. The bald thing wasn’t intentional. I just didn’t have any hair that didn’t stick out through the hat without it becoming umbrella sized. Well, unintentional, I keep getting compliments on the bald thing, so I’ll be keeping that look handy.

I’m loaning the top floor of my lab to a good friend, Aisling Easterwood, who’s learning SL design. She designs fabric patterns IRL, and her show and tells so far have been terrific. She sent me the eyebrow piercing and triple earring to try on. I linked them together, put them on, and never took them off. I’m hoping her stuff goes up for sale soon, but I might loan her vendor space in my store to get her going.

I love this Coat, but it did take a bit of adjusting to fit the prims on my frame. It comes in two lengths, the short length pictured above, the longer length shown below. The only problem I have now is – how do I find this coat IRL?

The Belt. I’ve wanted a good guy belt like, for forever. I finally tracked this wonder down and it’s my daily mainstay now. One word on the adjustments on it for the jacket – I sized it smaller and embedded the back and sides in my body, so only the front shows when I wear the jacket. That way it doesn’t jut out into the jacket’s prims.

Three final highlights to mention.

Boots. OK, I spent four days and a few thousand in bum buys finding these boots. For my taste in men’s wear they are simply the best boots in SL. I never take them off. Ok I take them off, but not in public.

The Ring. There have been reasonably recent changes made to my profile. I’m one happy boy and I’m all about the ring.

The Necklace. I have been dying to get over to Hibi‘s place and pick up her Celtic men’s pendants. This was the perfect opportunity. Love it.

P.S. – I’m helping Soren Blaisdale set up her store at Fusion Crossing. She does all my Shape work and frankly, she’s pure genius. If I get a new skin, my first stop is Soren’s place to get a shape retouch. I’m so glad she’s finally re-opening a retail outlet.
