What the hell is Mouse Mimistrobell doing on SCD? I’m not even sure! However, what I am doing at the moment is the round up on FLF! I’m a huge fan, always have been and enjoy what has become a Friday morning ritual for me in SL. So I share with you – my thoughts on each item and what I purchased! Well basically what is going on here is that WordPress Gallery was used to do a round up of 50L Friday Items. Now, while some kids out there may go “OMG Copycat!” Mouse managed to be nice about all of her posts and not sound like a raging cunt unlike some other people who are a bit weepy at the moment.

They are eyes…. took me a while to draw them to. Basically if you take a look around my store all my eyes are not very normal, I can’t specialize in eyes if all I offered was the same recolored boring eye.

There’s a huge diff between ripping into designers who offer something for 50L, for your benefit, and showcasing the designs without needless bias. In any case, SCD did FLF showcasing first with Emleigh Westland, check the archives :_)

I have always wished that Emleigh come back and do the 50L Friday thing for a long time. SCD will have plenty of other things to read if people want to go ahead and read Penn’s 50L Friday and other posts she does.

Two things.
1: WordPress Gallery is an open source free thing. Lots of people use it. Accusing anybody of “copying/stealing” for using it is like saying “Omg you used Papyrus! You must be stealing from every crappy graphic designer out there”
2: It was used for a Fifty Linden Friday Roundup. I am guessing it will be used for more. People are going to bitch. But then people will bitch if each item is done as an individual post. So it’s damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

Actually, Mouse’s style doesn’t resemble Penn’s anymore than it does mine from when i covered 50L Fridays for the first 6 months or so … It is a relatively big event that lots of people like to hear about. Yes, I realize your comments are likely because SCD ripped on Penn, but the thing is they didn’t rip on her for doing it just how she did it (Which if you check out the comments on Penn’s piece that SCD criticized you will see i support her approach and style as her own and encouraged her to keep it up. Mouse has her own style and own way of covering the event. Get over it.
