I say, let them eat cake!  OFF OF MY DAMN HEAD. Come and get it, folks!

I know you’re sick of hearing about Hair Fair by now.  It’s laggy, it’s overly colorful, it’s slow-rezzing.  I hate to say it, but most of that isn’t the fair’s fault.

It’s MY fault.

Blame me.

So, I’ll talk about something else.  How about we talk about steampunk style?

I met Pandora Wrigglesworth at Hair Fair this year while I was running around with a giant unicorn horn on my head singing the song “Candy Mountain” from Charlie The Unicorn before it opened.  (Yes, I’m one of SL’s elite, I got in early.)  Pandora makes these spectacularly fun hairstyles for those with a sense of humor, and a good sense of style!  And since I have both, I simply had to have them.  All hair in this article is from Curio Obscura, Pandora’s store.

There’s too much to say about the hair, so I won’t say much at all except that they’re all heavily scripted, do silly things like let everyone eat cake off my head…

Or tell the current time in SL with much clicking and whirring of hairy clockwork gears.

Or I can be a walking lampshade that anyone can erm… turn on.  (Cue bad porn music here, but yes, I really mean turn on.  And off again, for that matter.)  Yes, it’s the ultimate facelight!

However, I had a moment of frustration with the final style I photographed for this article… it didn’t fit in my damn photo booth thing. So I knelt down real low on the posestand and prayed I could fit it all in.  Meet the ultimate hairstyle of doom.  No, that’s not the name of it, but you can totally see what I mean.
