Bring me back!

I belong in the 21st Century. There’s no doubt in my mind that my personality, passions, and lifestyle fit best right here and right now. I’m too attached to the freedoms and technology we have today. Historically speaking, I’m spoiled rotten, and I don’t mind it one bit.

However! When it comes to fashion, I have no qualms whatsoever about spending good quality time in decades past. I can do so within the comfort of my virtual world, experiencing both the luxuries of the 21st Century and the delicious aesthetic one can only find in retro styles.

Let me introduce you to two lovely examples among the many (many!!) new releases from Ivalde that bring me back in every good way.

After slipping this sexy number on, I wasn’t sure whether to dance, perform a magic show, or put on my bunny ears and give Hugh Hefner a call.

Right now I feel like the bad girl of the circus, taming the wild Tigers and seducing the Ringmaster for rent money.

One thing I can’t quite do—even in these lovely outfits—is give up my tattoos and piercings. I love finding ways to keep that part of my identity intact even while dressing up for a night on the town. Pairing that rebellion (or perhaps just stubbornness) with the elegance of this dress plunges the style into a new dimension. It’s now something I’d rock in, not just waltz.

One small note before I give you the links to the goodies: I am finally able to properly credit my favorite facial piercings! I was a dunce and forgot I could simply find out who made them through my edit window. All this time I wasn’t sure where I’d bought them! But let this be a reminder to designers: please put your landmark and store name in the item folders!
