I had a very interesting experience this evening at Aden’s new shop in Appearance Mode. I was simply shopping for hair because of this post at Bonnie & Clyde (an excellent blog, you should check it out) when a very noob avatar teleported directly in. The Nylon Pinkney noob version – the asian girl with the puffy hair and red tunic dress.

At this point I’m really getting irked and beginning to wonder who’s really behind the avatar. Who the hell uses the word “Broseph” anyway?

I totally back our post and yours Tenshi, and I will reiterate that I do not believe they are ripped textures, but definitely a natural blend.

Thank you for backing me up on this! My Friend Garbage Prototype made these textures. I was there from the beginning. He worked SO HARD on these textures, And it really pisses me off when people say shit like this, and they don’t do investigations or anything. they just assume. She was an idiot. her, and her alt. I do not care who she is, Im still going to make hair. I know the truth and I know Garbage did not steal those textures.
Whether it is hair or clothes or lamps or TREES — there are no “new” things under the sun. In RL or SL there are really no authentically new ideas – well maybe one in a million. We all “borrow” from others even if we have no recollection we are doing it. The mind remembers what we may have consciously forgotten. With a finite amount of shapes and colors that the eye can discern, we are bound to reproduce things even without knowing it.

We’ve watched aden make his hair from day one… all from scratch. though the hair textures were done beautifully by garbage prototype, aden makes his hair all from scratch. So there you have it, you god damn drama whores who want to pick on someone as creative as aden… THOSE TEXTURES ARE 100% ORGINAL… if they look similar oh boy… what doesnt in this game to those who constantly think someone who is trying to make their way in this industry is ‘copying’ another bigger name designer… but they are not ripped, stolen, or recreated to look like someone elses hair textures… They were made out of love and sunshine *trying to be nice there* So who ever is starting this crap, cut it out. What a tool. The idea that someone could spot a ripped hair texture from a couple pictures of one haircolor is ridiculous. There’s only a certain range that haircolors fall in. The chances of two blonds matching is pretty good. If you really wanted to prove texture ripping, you’d need to look at all the colors, not just one. And anyway, even from the photos you can see that the Armidi highlights are brighter.
The funny thing is I bought a few hairs in white from Aden earlier this week and I liked them alot, but they seemed a little too gray, so i sent her an IM saying she ought to put a little more color and a hint of blond into her whites. And I was specifically thinking of Armidi’s Pearl tone, and how its got subtle blonde undertones in it and I was wishing Aden’s whites were more like that.
Oh wow… I guess Aden is getting pretty famous if someone thinks it worthwhile enough to start bashing him without actual proof to show LOL Ain’t jealousy a bitch. Way to go Aden!! I hope Le Zoo was full earlier because people were buying your hairs hahaha!
Considering hair textures are basically made the same way in PS most of the time, it’s really hard not to get hair textures that look nearly the same. :/
Though, I don’t really see the similarity in Aden’s and Armidi’s. Just the tone being the same. (which is good, seeing as I can never find a good blonde!)

That’s what I figured – you know, there are so many “bleach blondes” out there who use that similar hair color in RL that it’s definitely easy to replicate. I did view each of the textures individually and they’re nothing like each other – the waves are different, the highlights are placed differently. They just happen to be the same shade, so they blend well.

And Aden – I figured this person must know you, (and Garbage, and Kenzie, given the quick TP out) but I wasn’t positive. Do you know anyone that uses that awful slang they used while speaking to me?
Just to stomp out any confusion, yes those are our pictures on this blog but if you read our article at the link Tenshi provided you will see that we are not hungry for drama and also state specifically that they are different and this is NOT the start of any content drama. The reason I only showed blonde is because that’s the colour I wear. I understand that this Disco freak is stirring the pot, but rest assured, our post and pictures speak to a completely different story and we are in no way associated with him/her.
