Greetings!

Yep, that’s a new name at the top of this post.. some of you may recognize it from in world, or from SLUniverse where I lurk and make the occasional post in the ‘Show Your Style’ thread. Which is how Tenshi found me, and asked me to do the same kind of posts over here. So, after much “squee”-ing and bouncing, I agreed and this is the result. Enough background.. quit rambling and get on with the action!

I often get the urge to wander around the Japanese shopping sims. On first glance they seem to be a sea of schoolgirl fashion, but I find if you stick with it long enough, you’ll find a few gems worth more investigating. Today’s outfit started with a trip to the Panda shopping mall, and by the time I’d tp’d to a few mainstore locations and explored the surrounding areas, I had something I was happy with. Until tomorrow, at least

The instant I saw this top I was drawn to it – I love the bright jewel colours, the floaty sleeves, and the longer length. It does have some seam issues where the top texture meets the bottom, but I loved the pattern so much I was prepared to overlook them in this case. And to be honest, in a pattern this loud and random, it’s not too noticable. The top also comes with a pair of very short demin cutoffs, but I wasn’t convinced they worked together and so started hunting for something else to wear.

Accessorising this top was a nightmare, until I visited =DeLa*= and found the bangles and shoes in exactly the right shade of blue. I originally found this store around 6 months ago and picked up a fab pair of wedges, since then they’ve been busy expanding the range to include jewellery and clothing. Much as I love the shoes from here, they are pricey and there’s no fat-packs available

I finished off with my beloved Stella de Roccia skin (yes, they are getting old now, but I still love the details and makeups, and I prefer these to the SdR II line) and hair from Magika, where I could quite easily go mad and buy the entire hair wall one of these days.

So, there you have it. My first post, and I’ve ended up with a look that is wildly different to how I usually dress.  SLurls and stuff coming after the cut!
