Delora’s (out of) the Closet

I haven’t been around much lately.  The real world has been full of fail and hate and doom, sort of like most of the virtual world we spend so much time in.  But without this virtual world, I wouldn’t be able to satisfy my secret fantasy to be one of these hawt chicks from one of my favorite (though tacky) TV shows, Legend of the Seeker.  You can watch it on Hulu if you haven’t seen it before.

That’s what is called a Mord Sith.  They’re hot, and kiss on each other and beat people with magic sticks that scream when they come into contact with another person’s flesh.  Awesome, huh?  So yeah.  Back to what I was saying.  I want to be one, and my hair in the real world is definitely not long enough to pull off the super huge braid.

Unfortunately, there are no dark-skinned Mord Sith depicted in the TV show, so I went pale and awesome for this today.   Vicious, huh?  I need to find myself someone to poke with a stick.   Any volunteers?

   Ohai sexy. I read all these awesome books in the “Sword of Truth” series…is this TV show based on that!? Because that would be the awesome.

   The tv show is very very loosely based on The Sword of Truth series. They take liberties all over the place. The image of the Mord Sith are one of very few things that are true to the books.

   Ha….I love those books…have you read them yet. Do you know what a Mord Sith is (non TV version?) The Terry Goodkind series?

   I wonder if a copy of an outfit used and designed for a RL TV show needs licensing from the production company?

   Is this based on the 11-series Terry Goodkind huge fat books that I’ve read?

   It would be amazing if that is being put into a tv-series. And of course, not yet available in Europe….

   i loved the mord siths in the books , the tv show took a concept and ran with it , like ran fast and hard like forest gump but anywho they were a highlight of what ended up being a crappy series
