Then go outside and check out all the unattractive people in your neighborhood. God. How do you manage, having to live with all that ugly.
Face it, in SL we’re battling the uncanny valley, and not everyone is going to have a good eye for proportion or style. Do you think Mickey looks like a real mouse? No. He’s a freaking cartoon.
I guarantee you that none of the people you’re sending your negative energy to are even remotely bothered by the fact you think they’re fug.
They’re having a blast, and maybe if you took that stick out of your ass, you’d feel a bit better, too.
BTW I would *love* to see what you looked like during your first months on the grid. I bet you were super-sexy!

1. I personally don’t like seeing the over the top chest, butt and muscles, that are not even realistically looking to how people who have that kinda look in rl would look like, but its their sl and if they choose to look like that its up to them, who are we to decide. Oh and I think I’m the only one gonna say this, but I think the typeface is cool.
2. Just tell this person how you feel, honesty and upfrontness is the best policy, and you can’t make them not feel the way they do so keep that in mind.
3. Well, what’s ‘skanky’ to one is a treasure to someone else, so why bother secreting this? Everyone is entitled to wear whatever they want and make whatever they want. If ya don’t like the store just don’t ever go there, simple as that!
#1: aw, somebody is bitter because nobody is buying her shapes.

#1 well some people do look odd TO ME but maybe not to them. But it’s their avatar and the way they want to look so if I don’t like it, I just click on over to the next blog.
#2 annoys me. How self absorbed is that message. Just tell them you can’t for whatever reason, delete and move on. You aren’t doing them any favors hanging around as a “friend” if they “love” you. Be kind and cut the chord.
#3 is just stupid.
1.) judging my your choice of font. I am assuming you don’t look good in SL at all. And since you pretty much listen more then half of the people in SL you really should go do wow or something.

I’d love to see the avatar who wrote 1, because it is fact the Sl avatar model itself is flawed. Whoever made that thing made it so it’s pretty hard to get perfection. I don’t know about males but the female avatars shoulders, arms and how they attach to the torso is incorrect. heads can’t scale in some ways that even playstation home managed to do right. Same with some of the facial features and how the legs grow out of the torso. Then we have these massive extrude knots where the hands and feet came out of the arm and leg. It’s just a mess.

1. Since I agree with most people, I will repeat in my own words: Your font is crap and difficult to read.
Where exactly are hanging out and shopping to meet people who look like that? It is VERY rare I see avies that I’d say were ugly. Makes me think you’re shopping where the newcomers hang out?

3. Skanky as in revealing? I’m not sure what you mean really. Who on sl hasn’t dressed up slutty one time or another? It can be fun. Anyway why do you have a prob with the build? Are the clothing well made? I rather shop in a nice build rather than something that looks like a newbie made it :p
i hate it even more when a ugly box of a build with grey walls and the most boring look has great clothes. because i go there 10x before i realize that there are really nice things there but didn’t give it a chance because i assumed the clothes would be crap because the store was plain and crappy looking. and i think to myself, how many other great things have i missed because i’m a ‘store appearance snob?’

#1 Thats a large group of people out there, and though some appear disproportioned to me, the ones I like the least are the Amazon looking fashionistas (totally unrealistic). The others, I couldnt care less, they could dress up as a two inch dragon for all I care. They live in their own fantasy world.

I also would like to know what “faux Asian eyes” are, as I have an east Asian AV (I’m Chinese RL) but you know, one person’s perception of beauty can be very different from another.
Kinda like art. Some people think that “x” artist is great, another might thing that it’s over hyped cr@p.
I kind of like the “ugly” people. If it’s their own style, then rock on. I would hate to conform and look like everybody else. Where’s the fun in that?
What I don’t like is people shoving cat tails up their arses (because it does look like that is where there are sitting) just because their new best friend in world told them to. (I’m using nekos as an example, but I could be talking about any social group in SL)

#3 Instead of bitching about the content of a store, why not make constructive suggestions? We all have to start somewhere.

No idea what “faux-asian eyes” are. Maybe when people make their avatar eyes really squinty so that it looks like you’re pulling back your eyelids instead of a real asian look? Who knows.

Should the build reflect the type of clothing? What would you suggest? How does one build a ‘skanky’ store? Should there be giant nipples as law ornaments or should it be sold in a sex dungeon? O.o

I’d love to see what the writer of #1 looks like. Usually these types of people are the ones wandering around SL with a ‘Model’ tag on, looking like an anorexic 12 yr old boy dressed up in their ‘Haute Couture’ with their noses turned up to everyone else.

@ 1 – Yeah I can. I make my own shapes, and I take pride in them looking as ‘good’ as possible from every angle. And by ‘good’ I don’t mean in a Barbie way (although I made one heck of a typical hourglass blond av too). I mean they seem like real ‘people’ as much as possible, with a type, a personality and all. (I know it sounds dumb to brag about it, but, hey.)
There IS an art, skill, and talent to making shapes and NOT everyone has it. I feel your pain. Lol.
The problem is, everyone thinks their av is great, or they wouldn’t wear it…So go to WTFug and let it all out in a primal scream why don’t ya.
I want to take a guess here .. For #3 are they refering to the clothing store ” Zaraa ” ? It just came to my mind because the store is Indian Inspired or the designer is Indian ( correct me if I’m wrong but it’s something to do with India ) and the store build is really great, and their product quality is based on your opinion ( I think most of the stores products are awesome ) but anways since the person put a picture of the Taj Mahal it just reminded me of the store ..
