#4 you would rather have your parents think you sell drugs than run a sex business??? How is that any better??? At least the sex business is legal.
1) Both are true, just like every section of society, some are skinny, some are fatter.
2)I want to know who this is about
3) What is griefer shit?
4);)
5) No, bad friends are worse than no friends
6) ! I always decide on people based on their behaviour to me too
@ #5: tell them. Maybe they are sorry for what they said.
1-And your 19, right? Give us a call back when your 40 and weigh in.
2-We Love You? I think not..if you were a true friend (and we know SL is just FULL of those, right?) you would be supportive of whatever she/he wanted to so in SL not be critical because it makes you uncomforatble.
3-Instead of spending the time to make s cheap looking poster and uploading it, talk to the person and tell them, “look, please stop it’s not funny.”
4-Hummm…can’t tell Mommy and Daddy, huh? Another underaged hooker on the grid? Big surprise.
5-Why be a doormat? Confront them and let them know you know what they did and either squash it or terminate the relationship.
6-Pink boots, huh? I’m pretty sure I know who this is directed at. She’s always been straight with me as well and not a phony which is more than I can say for most of you.
No. 2 obviously was posted by someone who is no doubt jealous and flat-out petty and catty. Any statement that starts with “We love you but” – not to mention in an anonymous postcard – is passive-agressive bullsh*t.
And there are so many of those lonely, sad, starved-for-affection AVs out there who translate “social,” “fun” and “liked by many” into “trying to be a SLebrity.” It’s sad.
Somebody needs to take a good hard look at their so-called “friends.”
Whoa, someone woke up on the wrong side of life today…
2. There are a lot of these people on the grid. They never change because no one ever tells them to sit down.
3. I think I know who this is or atleast I know someone who does this. Asking people for “griefer tools” will probably end with you being griefed.
4. Tell your parents you sell stuff on internet.
5. Bad “friends” aren’t friends. They’re leaches that will kill your spirit.
6. I base my feelings on how people treat others in general. I’ve known people who have been nice to me but treat noobs, furries or anyone “different” like shit for no reason.
#6 – its about damn time, that’s all I’m sayin’.
Yes I am replying to my own comment: I think we need someone to make cute pink Gogo boots just like these!
There are some! http://shapesbykira.blogspot.com/2009/07/gogo-2-boot-new-mens-sculpted-shoes.html
5 – seriously, it may get a little lonely occasionally, but at least you know you aren’t compromising with people who don’t respect you. There are so many people on the grid, believe me, you will find other and better friends. I’ve been through that myself.
It’s hard to cut out people you care about from your life, but when then disrespect you in ways like that there really is no other option. You need to have respect for yourself, even if no one else does.
As usual, the concept of SLsecret, which was based on the popular PostSecret, has flown right over many of these poor readers’ heads.
The point is to anonymously share a secret about yourself that you can’t reveal to the rest of the world. No. 4 and 5 are good examples. Check the Web site — http://postsecret.blogspot.com/ — or buy the books if you still don’t get it.
But as usual, some losers out there are using SLsecret to take petty shots at people. If you really have a problem with someone, grow a pair and just say it to that person’s face — don’t hide behind the safe anonymity of your pathetic attempt at an artsy insult.
A couple of these postcards are just as cruel and insulting as the SLFashionFails Plurk page that got people in an uproar last week. I don’t understand why some of you get righteously worked up if, God forbid, someone openly pokes fun at fashion, yet you have no problem with anonymous cards that say things like, “nobody likes you” and other catty comments (No. 2).
Some of you need to grow the f*ck up.
“openly pokes fun at fashion” should have said “anonymously pokes fun at fashion.”
I hate typos. :\
#2 yeah wannabe slebrities, pathetic
^#3
#1- They just throw remarks like that because they are jealous. Sure, this response sounds like an elementary one but its true. People only get up and arms over something when that thing bothers them. But how could a content creator creating items for SL for people to enjoy *bother* someone? Oh i know, theyre upset they cant work from the luxury of their home and majority of their life is spent being bossed around by somebody else who we know as: Their boss.
#2- “Sleberities” / “Celebrities” are retarded as hell. be yourself, make your own statements, find comfort in the things you naturally are drawn to, no what people are *telling* you is cool. dont be a sheep!
#3- Sad that a mere mortal thinks its ok to exalt themselves that high above another human to mock and laugh at them like that.
#5-
#1 It seems to me that the very first thing people will say when they want to slag someone who spends alot of time on the internet is that they must be pimply faced, overweight social outcasts… don’t take it personally – its a cliche stereotype spread by insecure dumb people.
Ha!
@1: the internet is not your hugbox
@6: i got a pair of those boots in black in rl. i love them to bits, i never wanna take them off
