I don’t know. I read things like No. 2 and even No. 4 and it makes me want to remind some people that real life should always come first.
If you’re wasting your precious energy and time getting angsty about AVs (and the often nameless, faceless people behind them) more than you’re thinking about your real life, you need to walk away for a while . . . and let some REAL people stab you in the back for a change!
As for No. 4, it’s a shining example of the good things SL can do for people. You said at the top that you’d give up your SL for your real partner, and TONS of people will disagree with me, but I think you should do it and find other ways to “feel closer.” You found real, true love! Now go out and frolic and roll around in it and put your hands all over your partner’s REAL body and build a beautiful thing together that doesn’t involve a computer.
As for No. 12, could I add *wink* to that list too?

It sounds like they’re not next door neighbors in RL and can’t see eachother everyday. They used to spend time everyday, albeit in SL, but atleast it was something and emotionally nice. But now, he ( or she?) is not being paid attention to in SL and now only spends time with the partner once a week
that , to me, sounds like a loss. Yes, it’s amazing to be together in RL. But not if u only talk once a week. Makes me wonder if the partner really likes him/ her… If she did, wouldn’t she find that she yearned to spend time with him even if it was just in SL. In addition to the RL stuff?

1. Child av’s are revolting to me on so many levels. However annoying I guess they have their right as long as they’re not breaking any laws but sex thing is totally wrong.
2. Don’t hold your breath. Move on with the belief that karma is real no matter how long it takes to go into effect.
3. Hopefully that will be the end of it.
4. I think you need to work on your RL relationship and not worry about SL.
5. No more drama than any other subsection of SL. You’re not winning any drama-free awards.
6. Try reaching out to that person. The holidays are a good excuse. You may not become the best of friends again but a positive connection is better than a negative one.

11. Are you buying signs? I used to work retail management at a major clothing store. You’d be surprised how often t-shirts would come in misspelled. The same with our competitors. It would get by several levels of production and wouldn’t be noticed until staff at a store noticed while unpacking. If you like the item buy them don’t knit pick about a sign.

@12 – Thank You! I sooo agree – mature, intelligent women don’t “giggle” – I’m pretty sure only girls 18 and younger “giggle.” Its something I have always found annoying *laughs
BTW – teen grid folks can continue to giggle all they want IMO.
Actually, many of them do. I know a woman who is well-educated and nearly 30 who just happens to giggle like Betty Rubble. It’s not something she can change or help. It’s just how she laughs.
I don’t emote giggles in SL (I tend to laugh or chuckle) but because I have that cute laugh in my head, I don’t mind when I see it in text.
How about a “best of SL Secret” for the end of the year? Bad timing I know… but there have been some GREAT ones!

I like to think karma is real, but, it’s been a year now. They’re all still living happy as clams. And I’m broke, struggling to make a profit off my rinky dink sales.

There was no plan. It’s not like I was looking at SL as an income thing. It was just for fun, but somewhere along the way, lines got crossed and the important-ness of things got blurred.

Let me get something straight here.
I didn’t spend the WHOLE year raging. Honestly.
It’s not like I think about it every time I log into SL. This is the one year mark of the entire event, so yeah. I have a little bit of a right to look back on it and be like, “Wtf?”
