@Lizzie: Stop saying “let’s see if this comment gets published” please. Unless a comment points to something utterly stupid (in my opinion) it will be removed. I modified that stupid youtube video because, really that was dumb. I am not sure what could have been done any better considering that secret sounds stalkery but until earlier today I had no clue who it was about. Just because it has a pen doesn’t mean it’s immediately about Pennelope, or am I just naive?

Is 14 about the Haiti fundraiser? Because seriously? They weren’t aiming to get an award, they were trying to help a lot of people who desperately needed it. They were nominated by other people who respect and appreciate the work they did. If you’re bitter and selfish enough to take a stab at them for that, maybe you should be examining your own actions, rather than everyone else’s.

If you think about the “copying” of the FLF format is pretty damn smart. Not only does it help gain Mouse’s column attention for SCD readers but it also reminds people of penned down’s style so they go back and look at Pennelope’s blog as well. It’s a win-win really.

And oh number 1 is kind of freaky and stalkerish in my opinion. The Penned Down haters really are responsible for her fame if you think about it. Not a week goes by when someone doesn’t freak out over one of her two or three line blurbs causing more people to go to the site to have a looksey. I understand feelings get hurt and last week I got really sad for someone after reading a plurk string of hers about an entry on the blog regarding one of her offerings. It made want to just give her a big old virtual hug. I just wish people wouldn’t place such value on one person’s opinion. That’s giving a lot of power to someone who really isn’t a part of your world at all. For the record, I do like Pennelope – I may not agree with all she says on her blog but I still like her. Lets see if this comment gets published, LOL.
