I have bought 2 necklaces (one resin little red riding hood necklace and one clockwork necklace) they are both really well made and came with these adorable little charms.
And just for the record Violet did sell on Etsy the first go round and then switched to Art Fire because they have better features.

There will always be trends/fads/popular ideas. No one will ever force you to buy them. If you want to be original and make your own original works that have never been thought of go ahead no one is stopping you. Although I am sure you’ll be hard pressed to do it since pretty much if it’s been thought of it’s been done.
