So between when I posted yesterday, and now – more is afoot in the Emerald world.
Fractured Crystal has resigned from Emerald development, leaving the primary webserver to the care of Arabella Steadham. As a result, they’ve been removed from the TPV Compliance list, but they will be back when the transfer has been done to whoever the main Emerald stuff will go to.
I did some googling on the latest stuff, and found some pretty revealing videos about the Emerald team.

In fact, all the of the videos here are enlightening, especially when they talk about the Onyx viewer, and ‘God’ mode, and hearing Ph0x/Lonely Bluebird talk about how he can get estate rights to anything he likes. through less than legitimate means.
Here’s hoping that Fractured Crystals leaving will help heal the damage done, though I’m not sure how much it will help.
EDIT: According to this entry at Treet.tv, Arabella Steadham has actually left the team, so where does this leave Emerald? This info is false, Arabella has not left Emerald.
Also, Ex Emerald Developer LGG is working on a branch of the last ‘legit’ Emerald release, and naming it Emergence. So, for those who love Emerald, but don’t want to use the current version, check it out here. Binaries are unfortunately only for Windows users, however.
