  Greetings all SCD readers, recently I have been given a great honor to join SCD writer team, it is an honor that I appreciate greatly. I have been around SL on and off for the past 2 years, never really got into the fashion side of things until a few months ago.  I worked in fashion in the real world for nearly 6 years, putting outfits together for both men and women, window displays, bust-forms and such. Last thing I wanted on my free time was to work with clothes. Which is why I really never gave any thought to fashion on SL. However about a few months ago, as I spent more time on SL, I became more and more involved with shopping and fashion.  Which led to me starting my own blog , called “The Highlight”.

  Taking into consideration the number of fantastic fashion blogs out there, I knew that for mine to even remotely stand out, I would have to try something new and different. I came up with the idea of SL vs RL fashion blogs, which surprisingly ended up working out really well. I love fashion both in the real world and on Second Life, so it made sense to mix the two together every now and then.

  Being given this opportunity, I would be bringing in the RL vs SL to SCD and hope that you all enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them. Aside from “RL vs SL fashion” entries, I would be doing reviews, “Look of the day”, and “Fashion Q&A”.

  I would like to take this chance to thank Iris Seale and Tenshi Vielle for giving me the chance to write for SCD, I would be doing my best to be able to keep up with SCD’s talented writers. Thank you all for taking the time to read my first SCD entry.
