1. Everyone just needs to calm down.
3. That would take the fun out of SL.
4. I know that there are personalities that don’t mix and maybe that’s the case with you and this “blogger”. If everyone loves this person maybe it has more to do with you than with them.
5&6. I’m a black SL user and yea I get a little pissed when I see what goes on. Constantly using the “N” word as if that’s what we all do. I find my “blackness” being questioned by the blingtard crowd because I don’t dress like them. That’s not being black to me so it’s comical to see.
7. Yea some people take SL way too seriously in those situations. The only time I get riled up is when my Ls are involved.
8. Some of them are just regular. As long as they’re reviewing something new they have my attention.

Coming from a TG perspective…
I’m the only person that I know that wears a black skin. Yes, I’m first-life white, no, I don’t try to act “gangsta”. I think that’s shameful and stereotypical. I don’t wear a black skin because I want to be black, or because I think “I know where you’re coming from”. I do it because the skin is beautiful and original, and makes me different from the all the goths.
Really, is there anything wrong with a white person wanting to wear a black skin? I can’t see any reason that it would, if you’re respectful and tasteful. Putting oneself in the shoes of another is a great experience, and I encourage it.

I love wearing skins that range from goth white to dark slate gray and every shade of brown and color of the rainbow in between. I see it as part of the whole experience. Yes, I’m white IRL. Yes, I know that walking around with a brown skin could lead to assumptions. But I will be damned to a hell my religion does not contain if I ever act gangsta in SL. Ever.
