Chocolate

It’s going to take a while for people to know this domain exists; so for all the early adopters: Welcome to the new fashion-focused SCD! The party can now begin; we have chocolate!
Remember Eshi Otawara, the amazing designer and unfortunate victim of the United States’ “widow penalty”? She has updated us on her story, and my government is looking more FUBAR than ever.
But Eshi is still imagining, still creating. She recently finished building the new Rouge sim (tp from here), and the final, amazing Fish Hook Dress was just sold at a RFL auction for L$460K! Let that sink in!
If anyone does couture in SL, Eshi does. As you will see below, she is still rockin’ out the amazing fashion for those of us without thousands of L$ in our pockets. Lick your lips after the cut!
Her newest gown release, “Cienega’s Chocolate Sin,” is a dream. One cannot help but feel sumptuous in the curvaceous fabric that seemingly drips down the body into the light, silky skirt that flows elegantly as you strut and pose. If you wish to feel dipped in liquid chocolate (and who doesn’t?), just slip into this gown. I dare you not to lick yourself. How could anyone resist a nibble? Just look at that bum! Oh my holy Hershey!
*licks lips* Oh right, that’s me in the photo…
Instead of relying on the formality of the gown to determine the style of my dress, I decided to match it with my favorite leather jacket from Cubic Effect and a low-riding skull belt from Kyoot Army. I love the finished product!
Today’s shoot was located, appropriately, in Emvee Cuba. I hope you all enjoy giving the United states the finger as much as I do!
If you’re counting calories…

Gorgeous dress, masterfully crafted, but sorry, I love my country (the US), and Cuba is too much of a we-told-them-so-mess for me to enjoy giving the US the finger. I wouldn’t mind giving it to you, tho. You know what you can do with it.

I’m glad you like Eshi’s work.
If you comment again in an uncalled for and rude manner, you may not be able to comment on SCD again. Please give the respect you’d want yourself, or do not reply at all.

I don’t see your comment on giving the Us ‘the finger’ as being polite or respectful. I simply commented ‘in kind’.

Further, your rude comment was political, and we don’t need to bring that element into SCD. I see no defense whatsoever for your rude remark. It was out of context (off topic), and uncalled for. I think you should remove it, and apologize.

We have freedom of speech in the USA. If you have a political issue to raise, perhaps you should do so on another, more appropriate. Meanwhile, your short, undefined and undefended comment on enjoying disrespecting my country is very inconsiderate. Perhaps you should be banned.

I am allowed my own opinion of my government’s ways and means as much as any free citizen. You cite free speech… and yet hypocritically say I’m not allowed the same right? Perhaps you think I’m not from the USA, where I have the right to stand up against my government’s injustice.
I did not aim a personal insult at you nor any individual, so I do not think giving personal remarks in response is “in kind” at all. Feel free to support US immigration procedures all you like. I do not salute them for their handling of Eshi’s unfortunate situation.
Again, I’m glad you appreciate her work. I will try to keep my politics off SCD, and you must not hand out personal (nor anonymous, if you please) insults.

your comment insulted a whole country, wankettes insulted you…is that what makes it more rude to you?
this woman you are discussing is desperate to stay in this “fubar” country you so dismissivly gave the finger to…If life truly was fair, you and her would change positions in my opinion.
see how that works for you.

To repeat what seems lost… My comments were a snarky way for me to comment on what I view as a political injustice; I didn’t make any personal insults. All citizens here have the right and privilege to dissent. That’s what democracy is all about—not saying, “All hail country and don’t you dare hold a negative position.” If we did that, we would not be a country today. I’m not going to kiss ass just because I’m an American. I’m going to try to make my country better, even if it means saying something unpopular.
I think some people forget that one can love one’s country and disagree with its practices at the same time. I’m not a sheep who thinks all that goes on here is the Gospel. I love the USA for its freedoms and opportunities–and I use them. Just like we have the right to burn the flag in protest; we also have the right to thumb our noses at the harmful works of the system and work against them.
Eshi should have the right to stay and not be treated like a throw-away. She should be receiving what the USA has to offer; she should not have to go through this trying ordeal.
If you want to support what the system is doing, you are at your leisure. I do not have beef with you, just the system.
Maybe I should put this on repeat…..

Wankette, we all feel a little bitter after discovering what happened to Eishi. We have all seen how the United States has been recently, and a little nasty comment here and there is less than what is deserved in some cases. The whole political system is corrupt. Also, as an aside, Thema is a United States citizen and has been for many years.
Now, enough.
