Lourdes’ SLife of Luxury: Ala Folie and Kalnins

Its the holiday season, both RL and SL. With the holiday season there are lots of parties. Believe it or not, in my 33K (and counting) inventory, I do not have many party dresses. Thanks to a new acquaintance introducing me to Ala Folie, that problem is solved. At Ala Foilie you will find a nice assortment of dress, from casual to formal and of course party dresses.
I’m a sucker for dresses with the sequin fringe thingies so I immediately zoomed in on the Etamine dress. Etamine comes in several colors and each dress comes in 2 different length options, short and not so short. Of course, I went for the short. I love the way fringes move on this dress, perfect for taking pictures.
So now you’ve got the sexy holiday dress you need shoes to go with it right? I took advantage of the Thanksgiving sale at Kalnins. All former customers got a 50% card. The Sonata shoes went perfect with Etamine. The HUD is very easy to use and it took only about 5 minutes to get a close approximation to my skin. The part I like about Kalnins is that you buy one shoe and have several color options. Once I match the skin tone I don’t have to do it again for every other pair that is a different color.
So anyway enough chatter and on to the picture.
Last week I had the pleasure of being the guest stylist on Fabulous Fashion with Angie Mornington. The designer spotlighted with Ivey Deschanel of Sn@tch. We had a fabulous time. Its almost shame that the audience didn’t witness the antics behind the scenes. Here is the show in case you missed it.
