SecondLife taught me stripper chicken soup
Posted on 13. Nov, 2009 by Takashi in SL in RL
That’s not a euphemism for anything. In my household, I’m the one tasked with the majority of the cooking. Food, therefore, is one of my favorite topics to explore in RL and in SL. I rarely pass up an opportunity to discuss food at the stripclub.
“Her full, moist lips part – her tongue expertly guides the crisp cookie to her awaiting mouth. The pearly incisors gently crack the buttery crust, then sink slowly into the soft, sweet texture.”
One particular night, I was in an IM buttsecks session with one of the dancers, discussing dinner. I let on that I needed to work on soups and gravies. Pointblank, she enlightened me on how simple it is to make chicken soup. Really good chicken soup.
“The chewy cookie flexes and bends teasingly.”
At present, Google will return 96,900 posts for “chicken soup recipe”. Epicurious has 648. I inexplicably ignored all of them, and took the words of a virtual stripper instead.
“She pulls away, a warm, rich, silky, chocolate chip leaves a delicious, glossy trail on her bottom lip. She starts to chew.”
And I’m glad I did. Right now, my daughter, son, and wife are suffering from some mutant strain of the flu virus – but they are recovering nicely with a huge pot of SL-inspired soup.
Stripper chicken soup:
3 chicken thighs (substitute with white-meat if you prefer)
4 cups of water
6 cups of chicken stock
2 ribs of celery – sliced
1/2 white onion – diced
2 carrots – diced
starch-of-choice (white or brown rice, egg-noodles, etc.) fully-cooked
Boil the chicken until cooked thoroughly. Remove the chicken and set aside to cool. Add remaining ingredients (except starch-of-choice) and bring to a simmer for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Skin and debone the chicken. Dice the meat and return to the pot. Throw in starch-of-choice. Serve hot. Leftovers can be cooled and frozen.
I’ve now sworn off of canned chicken soup, but still fear the gravy.

Cookiesecks can be the yummiest kind. I rarely strip without wearing some kind of edible.
