I don't get what the fuss is with those new lelutka skins anyway…..the faces are 3 shades lighter than the same old bodies with grease applied.

I loved the old skins, the new ones just scream UNIBROW to me. They make me want to grab some tweezers….

    1. Try IMing him even if he's signed off.

    2. A lot of skins now seem to resemble each other. Maybe they wanted to do something different. Since you didn't tell us what the skins are..then I have no idea which ones you're talking about.

    3. SCD Secrets don't cure Emo-attention whores.

    4. I can't read that. Something about "Every Dream This Woman". Your attempt at a secret FAILS. Go sit in the corner.

    5. Since so many people are telling you then you can IM him/her and tell them that you aren't writing about them.

    6. I had a neighbor that put some annoying loud objects on her parcel. I got so pissed and moments away from IMing her until I realized that all I needed to do was change my parcel settings to block her noise.

    7. Sounds like half of SL

    8. Don't wait. Live your life and if it's meant to be it will be.

    To #2:
Or how about people just have different tastes? -.-

#2, please don't accuse ALL bloggers of being mindless sheep. There are some who do not run with the flock, or worship those you accuse of being shepherds.

I personally do not purchase or wear some massively popular skins on principle. There are several shops I won't patronize because I believe we've reached saturation level in SL, and homogenization is not my idea of fashion. And yes, there are plenty of shops I won't patronize because the skins, in my opinion, are just plain bad. I'm not angry about it. I don't tell people, "You shouldn't wear _____ because _____." That would be shitty. I just choose not to shop there.

That said, I do agree with Sileny. Everyone has their own taste. Whereas you may think that 20 other skins are better than one particular skin, I may think those 20 skins are the most heinous garbage I've ever seen. Different tastes are the impetus for variety.

I suggest you start a blog in your own language. People will read it. I blog what I like, not what everyone else is wearing (and I receive no payment for it.) I suggest you do the same, if it means that much to you. One piece of advice though? Lose the attitude. People just may be reluctant to patronize a designer with such a self-righteous asshole on their side.

Zoom? Unsharp mask? Ok, the web address under the womans' face is and stays unreadable, but I doubt it's that much important.

        Oct 19th, 2009

I think maybe it is the one beside the womans face. But i dont know who the hell franco is. But it says its from scd. Any ideas? If its not that one then i guess im really lost on #4

The one poster is a riff off that This Man site people talk about, but I am too dense to make an SL connection, apparently.

i dont know what 4 means, but when i hovered over it, it says "francoistimesquare"…… hmmmmm

    • KateyCoppola

      Oct 19th, 2009

I don't think it's relevant to Francois though haha

It's a reference to http://www.thisman.org but the picture is of a certain Miss Vielle <3

I really really hope that Tenshi didn't submit that and that someone is going out and blanketting SL with her face hahaha it would make me creepily happy :D

    1. OK. Embarrassment over pixel sex, when peepz can cam over and watch from 1024m away now. Poor dude.

    2. I disagree with conclusion #2 – Some items are good enough to deserve their popularity. I appreciate knowing about these items even if they are over saturated on the feeds (like hair).

    4. Fail.

  13. Let’s go to Sacramento

    Oct 18th, 2009

[...] I can only attribute to lame bitches submitting shit since Tenshi knows how to pick them.    This week is proof of that. The submissions are getting better (you bitches need to quit slacking off) and we have some yummy [...]

How about folks actually create secrets? These are pretty much passive-aggressive complaints. If you’re not sure, go look at the inspiration, Post Secret. http://postsecret.blogspot.com/

i totally agree. i tried to create one the other week in the spirit of the real post secret. secrets are like things you do and don't want anyone to know, not complaints about so and so's personality. am i right?

I sympathize with the person #1 was written for. I'd be really embarrassed too. But if I had a friend like that, I'd learn to laugh to the whole thing off and just move on. That's not a good enough excuse to throw a friendship away.

Zooming in #4. Ok this what I can read (line by line)

    EVER DREAM OF THIS WOMAN?
every night throughout the world hundred of
    people dream about this face

If this woman appears in your dreams
or if you can help identify her,
    please contact us.
    ———————

back to my comment. the time if i have pixel dream in my rl dream is when i have to much of sl. so far i don't have pixel dream.

I can see so many things/ads in that secret. I wonder the writer intend to do four or five secret all in one posting? I saw one on saying how awesome SCD is. There is one with the picture asking to ote for her/his land. Another one about asking to join the VIP group. Hmmm

#2 yes yes, there are a lot of sheeps around the grid. But it's a matter of taste isn't it? i personally dont like Lelutka skins

I love how everyone pretends to know who all of these are about.. I chuckle at you…and guffaw.

The only thing I can read in No. 4 is a riff off the This Man Web site, which is ridiculous but creeps the hell out of me.

The best skins in SL are the Eloh Eliot skins, not only because they are high quality but because they are also free.
